Hi, I'm Shannon McCall

Yoga and Meditation Teacher, Ayurveda Practitioner and Mentor to Women in Perimenopause and Beyond

I'm a teacher and mentor supporting women to balance hormones, nourish their real energy, and reconnect to more pleasure and vitality.

I've been on the path of yoga and ayurveda for nearly 40 years, learning, practicing and teaching women to live in alignment with their unique nature (prakruti).

The practices of yoga, ayurveda and self-inquiry clear blockages, nourish vitality, ignite mental clarity and foster a connection to  your innate body wisdom.

I work with women in my living vitality and balance mentorship. I offer group work,  one on one work and  retreats. The power of the teachings, tailored to the individual, within a group of other like-minded women, is the most powerful way I've found to heal, create real change and grow personally and collectively.

After working with me, women heal longstanding imbalance, feel more in touch with themselves and their bodies, and more empowered to live in ways that foster real satisfaction in relationship with self, other, the collective, and all of life.

ABOUT

I bow in deep gratitude to the many wise Ayurvedic doctors, yoga and meditation teachers and spiritual teachers who've taught, mentored and guided me in my work.  These teachers include Dr. Vasant Lad, Dr. Claudia Welch,  Dr. Robert Svoboda, Dr. Scott Blossom, Dr. Ramadas, Dr. Bhattachaya, Reggie Ray, Angela Farmer, Victor van Kooten, Ana Forrest,  Doug Keller. Jeanne Castle, Janet Adler and all my teachers in the Ridhwan school.

I love to be outdoors, to be in Nature, to dance, to spend time in solitude, to travel, vedic chanting, hot baths, fellow travelers on the path, good friends, my grown son and my family.  I've  traveled all over Southeast Asia and the Yucatan Peninsula. I built a house and lived  and taught yoga on Bali throughout the 1990′s. I've spent many months studying and traveling through India.
